WHISKY TASTING EVENTS UPDATES
All the latest news from Scottish Rogue including some very cool whisky tasting events that are coming up…
DRAM JAM RETURNS – THIS TIME WITH FRIENDS!

We had so much fun at Dram Jam at the Old Toll Bar that we’ve decided to do it again. Expect an evening of whisky tasting, live music and cocktails.
This time, Scottish Rogue are delighted to be joined by our friends from the Glasgow Distillery for a wee celebration. 2025 marks ten years since the distillery first opened. The Glasgow Distillery now officially has 10-year-old whisky in cask!
The brilliant Libby will be joining us to introduce some Glasgow 1770 drams, which we’ll be lining up alongside some independent bottlings of the distillery’s unique spirit.
Dram Jam is a relaxed and informal evening, designed to encourage the enjoyment of whisky without any pretentiousness or snobbery. Relax, have a chat with your friends, enjoy the music and sip on some wonderful whiskies.
This is whisky tasting, the Glasgow way.
Tickets are £30 each and available here

BESPOKE WHISKY WALKING TOURS
We hosted the lovely staff of Dougal Baillie Associates for a bespoke Whisky Pub Crawl Walking Tour and Tasting Experience. It was a beautiful evening and we spoke history, culture and whisky, whilst visiting some wonderful pubs and sampling fantastic whiskies. We finished with a fun and interactive quiz and blind tasting at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

SCOTTISH ROGUE AT THE ISLAY WHISKY ACADEMY
We spent the last week of March with the Islay Whisky Academy, exploring the beautiful Hebridean island of Islay and learning all about the whisky made in this incredible place. We visited Kilchoman, Bowmore, Ardnahoe, Bruichladdich and Ardbeg and learned about sustainable distilling, geology, history and countless other factors that affect Scotch whisky.
